About us

Piñata is a five-piece band from the beachside surf community of Scheveningen in the Netherlands. Their performances are an explosion of summer-infused party music, combining energetic reggae, hip hop and pop with latin, ska, mariachi and more.
What started as a group of friends jamming in the living room turned out to be one of the biggest bands in The Hague. Within moments of the band hitting the stage, any audience, no matter how subdued, is transformed into a dancing mass of enthusiastic partygoers!

With sold-out shows at the Melkweg, Paard van Troje, Parkpop, MadNes- and Queensnight festival just to name a few, support act for bands such as Splendid, Typhoon, Jaya the Cat and Kakkmaddafakka they start to spread the summer-vibes all over the country.
After succesfully touring in France and Spain in 2012 and 2013, in august 2015 Piñata will cross the border to Germany this summer to play at the European Championship City Surf in München.
